Bob was born in the Green Mountains of Vermont and raised in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee. He graduated from Brookline High School and Massachusetts Bay Community College. His late father, Newton R. Douglas, taught him the insurance business. Licensed since 1971, Bob was the 25,000th CLU to receive his degree from The American College. He received his Advisors License in 1989.

Bob is the father of three grown chrildren and resides in Winthrop, Ma. He is a very active leader in the Boy Scouts, and The Knights of Storer.

Bob is committed to quality service and long term relationships and is prepared to provide his clients with a full range of quality insurance and financial products and services to suit the needs of today's discriminating clients.
